What to expect:
Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 are our introductory no-gi classes. This program runs on an 8 week cycle. For more information on the class format, or to simply come in and try a class, just go here. Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:30 PM are Fundamentals of BJJ, and 5:30 PM on Thursdays are our judo classes. All of these classes are highly recommended for anyone just getting started.
All Fundamentals classes will consist of a basic jiu jitsu technique or series. These techniques are highly applicable for self-defense and sport BJJ, but basic enough so that a beginner can immediately grasp the concepts behind the techniques and implement them right away. The end of class is very brief situational sparring- controlled “rolling” that everyone can safely participate in, regardless of experience level.
