Muay Thai

Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is the national sport of Thailand.  It differs from American Kickboxing, and has been gaining in popularity in the United States for the last several years.

Muay Thai utilizes the hands, elbows, shins, and knees to deliver powerful blows to an opponent.

Students will learn the basics of Muay Thai before beginning any sparring.  Protective gear will be worn at all times.  Muay Thai is a cardio-intensive workout, and students should come to class in appropriate attire.
